A fall swap party, a few brave invitations, and a reminder that friendship often begins with simply asking.

Sometimes the difference between an expensive beach week and a more affordable one is simply waiting a few extra days.

Then I wonder, what if faith isn’t simply believing it will all work out. What if faith is picking up the watering can and showing up every day to simply do the work of watering. 

Instead, I’m problem solving ways to get this garden to get back to producing. 

I know the garden doesn’t owe me anything. But it feels like I owe it one more opportunity to try.

It was about healing. About creating a space to grow again after seasons of loss, change, disappointment and uncertainty. A place where getting your hands dirty is somehow cleansing for your soul.
