Our Pumpkin Journey
July 4: We planted 4 seed packs across a 16ft. strip in our backyard, for a total of 80 seeds planted.
July 11: Sprouts are about 3-4 inches above the planting mounds.
July 19: Installed a trellis using a wide gauge fence from Home Depot. Yes, we now know they are upside down.
July 22: The first tendril. These grow outward looking for something to grab hold of and grow up the trellis.
July 27: We’re inches away from trellis contact.
